How much will music for
dancing cost?
We're often asked why our website doesn't give any costings. Briefly the
reasons are as follows:
- No two weddings are the same, and each wedding has numerous variables
(timings, date, location, nature of music required etc), all of which
can affect the cost.
- Generally speaking, bands and DJs are more in demand from Friday to
Sunday, and from April to October (and Christmas/New Year, of course!).
So if you were to ask us about two similar functions, one on a Thursday
in February and the other on a Saturday in July, you wouldn't be surprised
to hear that the former would be more competitively priced!
- We only use professional bands and DJs, and since the vast majority
of the country's professional musical life is based around London, this
means that we usually recommend London-based bands and DJs for engagements
away from London, and this in turn incurs travel expenses and sometimes
accommodation too.
- Not all bands and DJs charge the same, and to quote a specific figure
could be misleading.
Please contact
us and, once we've ascertained your requirements, we'll be able to
give you an approximate costing immediately, and a definite costing in
writing shortly afterwards.
