The Wedding Music Company was formed by David Guest in 1990.

At the time, David was a professional singer on the choral and operatic circuit in London. On one fateful day, an acquaintance said to him "Oo you're a singer - can you fix a choir for my wedding?"

This first wedding went very well, and before long, friends of the first bridal couple called asking for help with their weddings, and things started to snowball.

After a couple of years, David was arranging the music for over 100 weddings a year single-handed, whilst attempting to maintain his work as a singer.

Something had to give, and in the end, David took the view that the world could do without yet another Verdi baritone, and The Wedding Music Company was born!

 

 

The Edinburgh office opened in 2005 in response to increasing demand for high quality entertainment in Scotland and the North of England.

Our wonderful musicians are now heard the length and breadth of the UK - at around 500 weddings a year!
